Uplands Inn Cartmel, Cartmel

My stay at Uplands was fantastic! The room was huge and clean, with a nice big bathroom for a relaxing bath after an amazing dinner at L'Enclume in Cartmel. The service was top-notch - the staff were helpful and polite, and the welcome drink was a lovely touch. The location was just perfect, with wonderful views over the countryside down to the sea and being right in the center of Cartmel. The dining experience was outstanding, with delightful food choices that left me satisfied. I can't wait for the next opportunity to stay at Uplands.

The hotel was situated in a welcoming location, with views over the estuary and easy access to both the Lakes and the Coast. The rooms, though slightly noisy being above the bar, were spacious and immaculate, offering complimentary amenities like soaps, tea/coffee facilities, and bottled water, creating a cozy stay. The service was top-notch, with lovely and helpful staff going the extra mile to accommodate requests. The dining experience, while well-prepared with fresh and tasty options, lacked variety in the morning choices. Overall, a great value for money stay with some minor drawbacks.

The location, although a bit out of the way for some activities, provides stunning views over the fields and Morecambe Bay. The dining experience is outstanding, particularly the Indian dishes.
